Rudolph De GeorgeRudolph De George began his legal career in 1987 as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia, PA. Thereafter, he entered civil law practice primarily representing plaintiffs in personal injury actions, including four (4) years assisting injured railroad and maritime workers. During his time representing FELA claimants, he secured a jury verdict for a client punctured by a hypodermic needle who alleged a fear of contracting AIDS (the first such verdict in the history of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania), and a $1 million plus jury verdict in federal court in Massachusetts for an injured railroad worker who did not complain of a work-related injury until 18 months after the accident. During this time, he received an AV Peer Review rating from Martindale-Hubbell, was certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Legal Specialty Certification and became a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Thereafter, Mr. De George continued to help injured railroad workers through third party litigation funding, first as General Counsel and Director of Underwriter Claims at US Claims, and thereafter as Head of Underwriting for Eastern Assets Funding. As an underwriter and attorney, he developed relationships with FELA attorneys to provide funding to their clients to satisfy the clients’ economic needs during their pending litigation. Throughout this time, Mr. De George maintained a private law practice specializing in personal injury and criminal defense.

Mr. De George received a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University in 1983, and a Juris Doctorate from the Dickinson School of Law in 1987. He currently resides with his wife and 2 children in suburban Philadelphia.
